Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales are seeking to tender with suitably qualified organisations ,to undertake scheduled service / maintenance and reactive breakdown works to the CCTV systems at each of the locations schedule:Terms shall be for a period of Three years commencing 1st April 2014 and terminating 31st March 2017 with an option of extending for up to Two years subject to negotiation and satisfactory performance of the existing contract.Period 1 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2015Period 2 1st April 2015 to 31st March 2016Period 3 1st April 2016 to 31st March 2017Museum Locations:1.National Museum Wales Cardiff CF10 3NP2.National History Museum St Fagan’s CF5 6XB3.National Roman Legionary Museum Caerleon NP18 1AE4.National Wool Museum DreFach Venindre, Carmarthenshire SA445.National Slate Museum Llanberis, Gwyneth LL55 4TY6.National Coal Museum, Big Pit Blaenafon NP4 9XP7.Turner House Gallery Penarth Cardiff CF64 3DM8.Collection Centre Nantgarw Cardiff CF15 7QT9.National Waterfront Museum Swansea SA1 3RDShort listing criteria for contractors shall be:•Ability to undertake service / maintenance and inspections to all tasks scheduled above and to all Museum locations•Ability to provide emergency breakdown cover within 4 hours to each Museum location•Ability to provide full accreditation to professional bodies: All tenderers are required to be either members of the BSIA and to be ISO quality assured under NACB accreditation or NACOSS /NSI approved.•Ability to undertake such works within a Museum or similar environment and to scheduled listed buildingsSelection shall be on completion of a Pre-Qualifying QuestionnaireThe Six highest scoring Companies will be selected to tender.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
