Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council are inviting expressions of interest for the Maintenance, Repairs, Supply and Hire of Portable Fire Equipment and Signage sited within Public Buildings and Schools maintained by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.The contract will involve the contractor to undertake the following works:1. Carry out servicing of all types of Extinguishers and Blankets, which currently stands at 5965 units, from a monthly schedule provided.2. Carry out remedial works once approved by council contact when hi-lighted after service has been carried out in the form of a recommendation.3. To carry out call outs within a week from receipt of call.4. To supply Extinguishers for hire for Training and Public events - these may be required at short notice.The above works are to be carried out within the Borough of Sandwell:Public BuildingsSchoolsAt the following premises outside the Borough of Sandwell:Ingestre Hall Arts Centre, Ingestre, Stafford ST18 0RFFrank Chapman Centre, Ribbesford, Bewdley DY12 2TYEdgmond Hall High Street, Newport, GwentShenstone Lodge, Lichfield, StaffordshireThe approximate financial value of the works will be circa GBP 200,000 over a 3-year period and the contract period will be a maximum 36 months with an option, dependant on performance and the discretion of the Council of a further 12 months.The Authority does not guarantee this value.The Council are following the Restricted procedure for this procurement and the PQQ and related documents will be available to Applicants upon an expression of interest on the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal.If you would like to apply for this contract, please visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc to access the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal.
