Descriptions
The scope of this procurement procedure is the provision of a managed transport service for patients and urgent packages to NHS GG&C. The overall objective of the contract is to provide NHS GG&C with a service to transport passengers and urgent packages in a timely, efficient, and economic manner. Availability, punctuality, and reliability of the services are essential in this contract.The Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency has identified a number of business sectors which have a high risk of infiltration by Serious and Organised Crime groups. Taxi/Private Hire services is one such sector and as such NHS GG&C reserves the right to include enhanced probity checks / requirements at both the selection of candidate and award of business stages.
