Management and Processing of DBS Checks for Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW)

CIW wishes to continue to contract out elements of its administration of the DBS (Disclosure & Barring Services) process so a third party can provide a fully managed service to CIW’s applicants/ registered providers in this regard.The service will be a registered body to countersign DBS checks and manage and administer DBS applications including standard, enhanced and enhanced with barring list checks as appropriate. The service would need to link electronically with DBS.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
