Staffordshire County Council on behalf of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) was seeking to appoint a provider to administer a High Growth Investment Programme.This is a low value project. However, the opportunity was taken to advertise the project as widely as possible through a Voluntary Notice. A modified tender procedure was followed, with the deadline for submissions being 21 days from the date of the notice.The funding will be provided through the LEP. The funding has been sourced from the Regional Growth Fund (RGF).The provider will create, provide and promote a successful mechanism to offer High Growth Investment to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within Staffordshire.The funding available is approximately GBP 320,000 and needs to be invested over 12 months (1.4.2014 to 31.3.2015).A fixed Management Fee has been allocated to this project. Economic Operators will therefore be required to demonstrate their ability to deliver the most effective and efficient use of the funding capital to maximise the positive impact of the project on the Staffordshire Economy.
