Management of the Citizens’ Panel
Descriptions
The Council is committed to achieving a high standard of consultation with our residents. We established a Citizens’ Panel in 2003 in order to regularly consult with residents about council service provision, policy developments and other local issues. We now wish to commission an agency to become our partner in running and managing the panel for us for up to the next three years. Our intention is to commission for a two year period with an option that, subject to satisfactory completion of work during that period, we will extend the initial two year contract for an additional year without having to re-tender. This document sets out our requirements for running the Citizens' Panel and we require a written proposal which includes your costings and timings in response to our requirements. In brief, we require that the appointed agency:•manage the administration of the panel•recruit and replenish membership of the panel•conduct three questionnaire surveys a year (including design, analysis and reporting)•Compile, produce and distribute a feedback newsletter to panellists twice a year.Our requirements are set out in more detail in the Tender Documents.
