Network Rail is planning to develop the ‘Forth Bridge Experience’ visitor experience which is comprised of a direct elevator access to a viewing area at the top of the bridge to the North end of the Bridge and accessed via a state of the art visitor centre and a Bridge Walk starting from the South Queensferry end. The tender for the bridge operator will relate to both north and south end operations including the visitor centre, the elevator experience, the bridge walk/climb, all catering and retail and exhibition space. A tender for building design services has been let separately as will the Construction Works and the successful bidder will work with the appointed design team.
