This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (the Commissioner’s), intention to commission a Specialist Palliative Care and End of Life Service.
The Commissioner would like to understand the level of provider interest in delivering these services.
The contract will be for an initial term 7 years with an option to extend for any period up to a further 3 years commencing January 2026.
The service provision will cover Berkshire West and South Oxfordshire
This exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
