Manufacturing and Timber Support Network

The Welsh Assembly Government is looking for organisations/individuals to provide support in manufacturing and Timber sectors. The networks will be split into 2 lots: LOT 1 Manufacturing Network - Provide network support to manufacturing sector in geographic areas; Powys, Ceredigion, Meirionnydd. Support will be of an unspecified nature but will focus on the needs of the networked busnesses to enable them to meet the challenges facing manufacturing and support them to acheive their full potential. Develop and deliver specific network support activies identified through the network and external issues and opportunites, these activities where possible linked to FS4B support. The delivered support must return the required DE&T / WEFO Output Indicators identified in the tender specification.LOT 2 Timber Network - Provide network support to the Timber sector in Wales. Support will be of an unspecified nature but will focus on the needs of the networked busnesses to enable them to meet the challenges facing the timber sector enabling them to meet their full potential. Develop and deliver specific network support activies identified through the network and external issues and opportunites, these activities where possible linked to FS4B support, the delivered support must return the required DE&T / WEFO Output Indicators identified in the tender specification.In the case of both LOTS 1 & 2 the networks will seek to develop the supply chain and to identify intertrading and colaborative working opportunities within the network.
