The Wales Co-operative Centre requires the services of an organisation or organisations (the Organisation) to conduct a survey of the Social Business Sector in Wales, to collate information and to analyse the data and responses with a view to creating both a directory of the sector and an informed State of the Sector report.There is a need to gather robust and up-to-date information about individual social businesses in order to make the information accessible to people and external organisations that wish to trade with the Sector, thereby enabling the Sector to grow.There is also a need to identify the current scope and the scale of the Sector in Wales and to gain further understanding of how the Sector is performing, the challenges it faces, what helps and what hinders, as a basis for informing the development of policy and future support activity by the Centre and other external organisations.To facilitate this work, the Centre now requires the services of an Organisation to conduct a detailed survey and analysis of the Social Business Sector in Wales. The results will help the Centre gain the appropriate insight and understanding of what the next steps are for this growing movement at a critical time in its development.
