Descriptions
Ship Acquisition, part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), intends to place a contract with Liferaft Systems Australia (LSA) for the provision of spare Marine Evacuation System (MES) units consisting of an escape chute and linked life rafts, life rafts and MES training aids consisting of link raft training module, desktop training module and vacuum release pump training units (such components being the ‘Goods’ and such contract being the ‘Contract’). The Goods are manufactured by LSA who are the design authority and original equipment manufacturer. The Contract has an estimated value of 1 400 000 GBP (one million, four hundred thousand pounds) and a duration of 1 (one) year.
