Newport City Council has been successful in securing Heritage Lottery Funding, for the restoration of the historic Market Arcade in Newport - the second oldest surviving Arcade in Wales.The Council is inviting interest from appropriately qualified, experienced and resourced Heritage Consultants to form part of the delivery team for the Market Arcade Townscape Heritage Scheme.The Heritage Consultant will have a key role to play in progressing the ‘Development Stage’ of the project – focussing upon the delivery of a 'Characterisation Study' and 'Conservation Area Management Plan' that will form essential components of a comprehensive and compelling, round two, ‘Delivery Stage’ application, to the Heritage Lottery Fund by 31st December 2017
