This PIN is to announce a market consultation exercise relating to the procurement of a car park concession contract at the New Children's Hospital. The purpose of the market consultation is to give the NPHDB an opportunity to consult with interested parties on various aspects of the contract in advance of launch of the competition. The consultation will take the form of a written questionnaire which interested parties are asked to complete. It is possible that meetings will be held with interested parties, although the NPHDB reserves the right not to meet with any or all interested parties.It is currently anticipated that the procurement exercise will be governed by Directive 2014/23/EU on the award of concession contracts and the European Union (Award of Concession Contracts) Regulations 2017. The NPHDB will conduct and manage the competition as agent of Children's Health Ireland. The successful tenderer will be expected to provide a capital premium payment up-front in consideration for the grant of a 30-year concession to operate the car park.
