Market Testing Event for a Supported Living Framework for People with a Learning Disability

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is seeking to establish a framework for the provision of supported living schemes for people with a learning disability in the Neath Port Talbot Unitary Authority Area.It is expected that this framework may be used by either the Council and/or Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board to either purchase new supported living schemes or recommission existing supported living schemes, including those schemes for people who may be considered as complex and/or with behaviours that challenge. The services that may be purchased could include care and support commissioned by the Councils Adult Social Care department, housing related support commissioned by the Council and funded through the Supporting People Programme Grant and services funded by the Health Board including CHC.Some people residing in the Schemes may have a primary or secondary mental health need and as such providers will also need to be able to deliver services to people with mental health needs.To enable the Council to understand the current market position in terms of its ability to respond to the requirements the framework, we are holding a Market Testing Event for interested organisations.The details of this event are:Date: 26th October 2018Time: 14.00-16.00Location: Port Talbot Civic, Committee Room 1, SA13 1PJPlease contact Pam Morgans on p.morgans1@neath-porttalbot.gov.uk by 15th October 2018 to register your interest.Due to space only two people per organisation may register to attend, places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=85734.
