Descriptions
Lot 1: Print Partner (1 supplier only).The print partner will be expected to enter into subcontracts with a range of print providers who will meet the BBC's requirements throughout the UK including Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Lot 1 will be directly managed by the Print Partner and the BBC will have no direct contractual relationship with the subcontracted print providers. The print partner is free to provide some elements of the service itself. The BBC will have some involvement in the way the Print Partner selects its subcontracted print providers and this will be documented in the contract between the BBC and the Print Partner.Lot 2: Fulfilment and Response Services(a maximum of 3 suppliers) for Fulfilment and Direct Mail services. Storing/mailing out of printed material to end users.Lot 3: Large Format Print (maximum of 7 suppliers) speciality large scale print for events.The initial contract term for lots 1, 2 and 3 is 3 years with the option to extend for a period of up to 12 months.
