Quotes are requested for delivering the marketing, publicity and event management services for the programme of events to mark the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt in 2015. Events are planned by the Agincourt 600 – Along the Wales A40 Group in Trecastle, Brecon, Tretower, Abergavenny, Raglan & Monmouth.Quotes will be accepted for the delivery of all the listed services in one contract or for individually contracted elements.The aim of Agincourt 600 is to promote the Brecon Beacons, Monmouthshire and Wales’s European heritage that will strengthen sense of place, encourage local pride and attract visitors to enjoy the area’s special qualitiesObjectives:•Build awareness of the Brecon Beacons and Monmouthshire’s European heritage and as a destination for visitors in its own right, driving increased visitor numbers•Harness and focus the energy for tourism in the Brecon Beacons and Monmouthshire to encourage delivery of a high quality visitor experience•Encourage residents and young people to take pride in their heritage and improve their understanding of how the past has influenced the present•To grow participation in local and community groups, improving the living, social and working environment for all residents, community organisations and businesses.•To attract visitors with an interest in heritage and to add interest for those visiting the area on day trips and short breaks.•Introduce monitoring mechanisms where possible to enable evaluation and learning opportunities to support future community partnership projectsSummary details of probable work required listed below:Marketing and Communications1.
