This is particularly more relevant due to Brexit, regulatory divergence with the UK and increased importance of other 3rd country markets. People working in these roles come from a come from a variety of backgrounds, including food science, food engineering, home economics, microbiology, and many have not had any specific certified training in food regulatory affairs.The primary objective of the Masters in Food Regulatory Affairs is to give learners the essential knowledge of regulations in the Food and Drink industry and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory structures and procedures in Ireland and abroad. Learners on this course should have the ability to appropriately adapt their knowledge as regulatory frameworks evolve.The course should also ensure that learners can effectively communicate, debate and defend regulations with necessary parties.
