Coleg Gwent is the largest further education college in Wales and one of the largest further education colleges in the United Kingdom. There are six main campuses located at Crosskeys, Ebbw Vale, Newport, Pontypool, Usk and Abergavenny (awaiting disposal) In addition there are two out-reach centres at Monmouth and Cwmbran.This tender is for Measured Term Contracts for Electrical services to Coleg Gwent. The JCT Measured Term Contract will be employed and an electronic helpdesk will be operated by contractors and client. A schedule of response times (including an emergency response) will be stipulated for this discipline. The Electrical Contract will consist of reactive maintenance (approximately 55% of the contract value) and examination and testing of portable appliances, emergency lighting systems, lighting protection systems and stage lighting installations.The PSA schedule of rates for Electrical Services (6th edition 2011) will be adopted
