Carmarthenshire County Council invites tenders for a Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Service Contract for plant and equipment at all residential and non-residential properties within its property portfolio. This contract is for a period of three years with the option to extend for upto an additional 2 years. The contract will be divided as follows:Lot 1 - Fire Alarms, Fixed and Portable Fire Fighting Equipment, Emergency Lighting Systems, Security and Intruder AlarmsLot 2 - Domestic Boilers (Gas/Oil/Solid Fuel), Mains Wired Smoke Alarms, Carbon Monoxide DetectorsLot 3 - Non Domestic Boilers (Gas/Oil/Solid Fuel/Wood Pellet), Gas Alarms, Pressurisation Units, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems.In the event of a breakdown, the Contractor will be required to provide an emergency call service in addition to regular service visit as detailed in the Technical Specification. The Council reserves the right to award the contract in total or by individual lots.
