Creative Provision Mentor is a new role for creative digital and media industry professionals as part of the ‘Course Mentoring’ programme offer of Creative Provision between; Oct 2013 – April 2014. There will be a fixed fee for this role.Creative ProvisionCreative Skillset Cymru is piloting the Creative Provision programme in Wales in response to a need voiced by employers for a mechanism to help improve the industry relevance of courses within Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) institutes. The programme covers film, television, animation, computer games and interactive media. The aim is to facilitate and strengthen organised links between colleges, the industry and Creative Skillset to ensure that the industry gets the new entrant talent it needs for the future.Creative Provision is coordinated by Creative Skillset Cymru, and will be employing industry professionals as mentors to provide specialist advice and guidance on course content and delivery. There are 23 selected FE and HE courses taking part in a tailored programme that will be matched with an individual mentor.
