The University of Birmingham invites tenders for the supply of Media Monitoring press release distribution service and online journalist database. The intention is to establish a framework agreement with suitably qualified Supplier(s) who will provide the University's Media Monitoring press release distribution service and online journalist database. The requirement shall be split into two Lots Supplier(s) will be able to submit a response for either one or all Lots detailing which Lot(s) they are tendering for. Preference will be given to suppliers who are able to fulfil both Lots to the relevant standard.The Media Monitoring provider will be required to monitor and deliver media coverage of the University of Birmingham and associated organisations in printed media (national and regional newspapers magazines specialist trade publications etc.) broadcast media (national and regional radio and television) international media and online and provide regular impact analysis or the tools in which to do so.The online journalist database and press release distribution service provider will be required to provide an online system with uptodate journalist names contact details and job titles which can then be used to create and share distribution lists and issue press releases.Lot 1 Media Monitoring Analysis & Archiving Monitoring of media coverage associated with our keywords and including:National print media;Local print media;National broadcast media;Local broadcast media;International media;Online media.A daily coverage email comprising:All coverage split into categories assigned by us based on a range of keywords;A summary of themes and trends;Transcript of coverage behind a paywall;The ability to add new keywords for defined periods of time;Multiple user accounts;Archiving of coverage.A userfriendly dashboard for coverage searchable by keywords and filters.The ability to manually reallocate coverage to other categories where necessary.The ability to rank coverage by sentiment.Easy export of coverage dates headlines and outlets.Competitor analysis.Oneday response for missed cuttings and clips.Dedicated account manager.Ability to build charts and graphs to measure against KPIs including:Value;Reach;Sentiment;Volume;Ability to export chart data to Excel.Search function which allows charts to be built from results of a searchLot 2 Online journalist database and press release distribution serviceAn online journalist database which has the following features:Is searchable by name outlet keyword;Covers print online and broadcast media;Covers broadcast producers;Includes UK and international contacts;Contains MPs;Features job titles;Is frequently updated to reflect change of journalists' roles;The ability to add extra names not on the system;Multiple user licences;The ability to create store and share distribution lists;A press release distribution service using prestored lists;Ability to send press releases as though an email from user;Ability to send attachments with press releases;HTML and rich text format;Compliant with data protection and offers recipients an opt out.
