MEDITE Europe DAC are seeking suitably qualified companies to supply and install Density Scanning Equipment. Below is our Main Specification List, which sets out the details of our process and products to ensure the equipment is fit for purpose.Current process informationMedite is a manufacturing facility that produces MDF Panels on a continuous press, these panels are then further processed through a sander, cut to size saws and packaging machine ready for shipment to customers.ObjectiveMedite are seeking tender proposals from suitably experience companies for a Density profile analyser to provide a density profile of the board as it exits the continuous press. This will provide information on the density profile of the MDF board in real time as it exits the press. This information should be accessible to the production line operator through a monitor graphical display in the control room. Equipment should function at the various production/capacity speeds of the production line. Equipment should comply with any relevant regulations such as ATEX, X-Ray & Machinery directives.Technical specificationsThe panels produced range in gross length from 3700mm to 6155mmThe panels range in gross width from 2470mm to 2805mmThe panels range in thickness from 6.5mm to 48mm. sufficient clearance should be available for blown/swollen board exiting the press.The panels range in density from 520 kg/m3 to 900 kg/m3Panels exit the press at speeds ranging from 76 mm/sec to max theoretical speed of 800 mm/secEquipment is to be installed after the press and before the Diagonal saws. Safety systems to be included to protect personnel, Machine & product. Data transfer to Medite quality database, etc., for analysis or other parts of the process. Indicate if system is stand-alone? Or is communication with other parts of the process possible?Information to be provided on lag time between measurement and display.Indicate how/if weight of panel is required for density profile measurement.Design DataReleva
