Descriptions
Chapel Works: Works consist of removal and replacement of existing cast iron gutters, cleaning down and painting section of external wall. Replacement of small flat roof finish. Lime plaster finish to damaged walls internal including painting; all as per Architects Drawings and specification. Contractor is to maintain safe access through the existing road and existing pedestrian access routes for the College throughout the duration of the works. As the works are being carried out within protected structures all works to be carried out in accordance with best conservation practice. Include for all necessary dust screens; Contractor is to note that access to this area is through a shared access with Client which will remain in use by the Client, students and staff throughout the duration of the works and is to be kept clear of all builders materials and kept clean at all times; all as per Architects and Engineers Drawings and specification documents.The works are sited within Mary Immaculate College Campus within a live / populated campus within a constrained working environment. Throughout the course of the project works, M.I.C. intends to continue and carry out normal day to day academic and other activities. Contractor is to note that there will be Noise restrictions including out of hours work required. Deliveries & Waste Removal at permitted times only and to be arranged with campus management and needs to be identified in Waste Management Plan. Contractor to allow for a liaison officer in order to liaise with staff regarding any works carried out within the occupied portion of the building. Art Studio Conversion Works: Works consist of Stripping out existing Art gallery, new external windows and doors, Including a full refurbishment internally converting the space into a two bedroom living quarters inclusive of all new mechanical and electrical works and new finishes throughout. Including all associated site works; all as per Architects and engineers drawings.
