Micro-care Feasibility Study

Descriptions

Flintshire County Council and Cadwyn Clwyd require a Feasibility Study to be undertaken exploring the development of Micro-care support services, enabling the provision of more person-centred social care services in rural areas to support people to move towards their wellbeing goals in line with the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (Wales) Act 2014.Micro-enterprises (also called micro-providers) are very small organisations delivering social care services that employ five or fewer staff (full time equivalent). They are usually independent of any larger organisation and are offered by a range of people and organisations in the community, including people who are disabled or need support themselves.
