NHS Basildon and Brentwood Clinical Commissioning Group (‘CCG’), on behalf of the Mid and South Essex CCGs, including NHS Castle Point and Rochford CCG, NHS Mid Essex CCG, NHS Basildon and Brentwood CCG, NHS Southend CCG, and NHS Thurrock CCG, hereinafter referred to as ‘the CCGs’) has awarded contracts for the provision of ‘Covid-19 Hub’ services for a duration of up to 12 months commencing 20 March 2020 and expiring latest, 31 March 2021, under four lots: (BBCCG, ME and SCCG, CPRCCG and TCCG) for the provision of Covid-19 Respiratory Hubs and a 111 Overflow Service in Mid Essex, Basildon and Brentwood, Southend, Castle Point and Rochford and Thurrock. This provision for dedicated Respiratory Hubs or ‘Hot’ Hubs, was established to manage the needs of ‘people experiencing respiratory complaints’ during the current Covid-19 pandemic and has been commissioned from existing providers involved in the provision of primary care enhanced access services across Mid and South Essex.
