Midsomer Norton Town Hall Phase 1 Regeneration

Grade II listed Midsomer Norton Town Hall will be the subject of a phased programme of work to restore the historic market hall to its original appearance, improve accessibility to the building as a whole through providing increased level access and circulation, and improve facilities such that it can continue to act as civic and community hub of Midsomer Norton. The work will be phased with Phase 1 (the subject of this notice) focusing on the ground floor Market Hall. The works are subject to the conditions of both the planning consent (21/00914/FUL) and listed building consent (21/00915/LBA). It is anticipated that the contract will be the Joint Contractors Tribunal (JCT) Intermediate. It is anticipated that the contract documentation and Invitation to Tender will be issued on 9th February 2022 with full details regarding criteria and cost/quality weighting.
