Descriptions
The roof area where the asbestos requires removal and re sheeting is approx. 6.75m eave to ridge x 28.7m on one side, and 6.75m eave to ridge x 30.4m on the other side. All timber purlins under the asbestos sheets are to be replaced with new 6x3 purlins. New roof sheeting to be 0.6mm green corrugated roof sheeting, or similar approved Include for 12 clear sheets in the roof. Include for Ridge capping, barge flashing, new gutters and downpipes on the full 2 sides. Certification for disposal of asbestos will be required to be produced, showing the asbestos sheets have been correctly disposed of by an authorised, licenced asbestos waste disposal company. You are to allow for all necessary appliances and equipment that will be needed to ensure the works can be carried out in a safe and competent manner. Additionally, as this is a live, working farm, you will be required to ensure the exclusion of the work area, so as to ensure BOC staff and BOC service users cannot enter the worksite, for the duration of the works.
