The organisation currently operates a diverse Fleet of 141 municipal vehicles ranging from 2,7 tonne vans up to 32 tonne refuse collection vehicles.Maintenance and repair is carried out in-house via 2 transport repair facilities. The principal workshop is located at Beraghmore Road in Derry whilst a smaller satellite workshop is operated from Strahans Road in Strabane.On occasion overspill or the need to contract in specialist services is required in order to ensure all fleet vehicles are maintained in a legal and compliant fashion.The purpose of this tender is to secure contractors with the necessary infrastructure, technical ability and resources required to ensure such services are readily available to the fleet department as and when required.
