MK:U is seeking to appoint an outstanding integrated multidisciplinary team to design an exemplary new university in Milton Keynes.MK:U will offer an ambitious innovative curriculum focused on skills needed for the digital economy and delivered through practical, business-focused education with an emphasis on experiential learning that offers flexible and accessible education delivery.Education offerings will include robotics and artificial intelligence; digital and cyber; and entrepreneurship, business and design thinking. The university's distinctive provision will include accelerated 2-year courses, intensive 3-year degrees with project placements, part-time/apprenticeship pathways and short courses/continued professional development.MK:U will be a 24-hour, integrated quarter of the city centre and will reenergize and animate Milton Keynes’ public spaces.The total construction value for phase one (excluding VAT but including fees) is estimated at 188 000 000 GBP.
