Essex Cares Limited is looking to procure an application to support its carers and assessors including a planning tool to automate the planning and optimise the work carried out by mobile workers. The Reablement team operates in a dynamic environment providing short programmes of rehabilitation in people's homes. Customers join and leave the programme on a daily basis and individual care plans are updated regularly. This creates a specific logistical challenge whereby daily plans are ideally made the day before. We never plan more than three or four days ahead and then only for weekends which are slightly less dynamic.This mobile working, planning and route optimisation solution includes systems that will be used by the majority of Essex Cares' (ECL) workforce. The mobile working teams include Reablement and Outreach.
