This includes £27m per annum ringfenced funding to maintain the ISVA/IDVA posts funded in FY 2021/22 until the end of FY 2024/25, an additional 3.75m per annum to recruit an additional 300 ISVA/IDVA posts by 2024/25 with the aim of recruiting an additional 100 ISVA/IDVAs in 2022/23, and ringfenced funding of £15.7m per annum for DA and SV support services. The Warwickshire OPCC circulated the needs assessment template to Local Authority Commissioners and providers of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Services. The bids were collated and prioritised by the OPCC. The funding was initially allocated in 2022/23 on a grant award basis.
