Merseyside Pension Fund is seeking to appoint a Strategic Property Adviser (Section 1) and Property Manager (Operational) (Section 2) under separate contracts on an advisory basis. There is no intention for the 2 mandates to be amalgamated into 1. Each contract will be for a period of 6 years with the option to extend for a further 4 years. The Council reserves the right to terminate the contracts at any time subject to notice of 3 months.The Property Manager (Operational) will undertake day to day management of the Funds property portfolio acting as the appointed agent in dealing with tenants and other related bodies to ensure maximum efficiency. Officers of the Fund will work closely with the Property Manager (Operational) who is expected to liaise with the Strategic Property Adviser and Valuer to ensure all parties have up to date information.Future spending for property management works and services is estimated to be in the region of 1 GBP to 1 000 000 GBP per annum. There is no guarantee the actual value of any work will match or approach the value of any spend quoted in this document. The Council cannot guarantee the volume of work under the contract.
