Descriptions
Birmingham City Council is looking to renew its Wide-Area Network contract. In order to determine what approach we might take to the procurement and what the service delivery model will be, we are undertaking a market sounding exercise to elicit market responses and proposals for a future Wide-Area Network. This market sounding exercise provides an opportunity and a framework to enable the data network industry to inform and shape BCC's procurement strategy, design and specifications for mid- and long-term Wide-Area Network provision. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this market sounding process and interested parties must register with the system to be able to express an interest. If you are unable to register with In-tend please either email cps@birmingham.gov.uk or call 0121 464 8000.
