Mapping software development services. Further to the development of OSMapFinder™, Ordnance Survey is looking to extend its mobile application development and support capabilities further.We have created a mobile application development team that will enable opportunities with other government agencies (B2G) and businesses (B2B) as well as for consumers (B2C), using the latest geospatial developments in 3D cartography and photogrammetry.Although at this time the budget allocated for these further developments is limited, it is felt appropriate to establish a multi-vendor framework agreement that will contain no more than seven suppliers that can assist in the design and build of these applications, particularly if our pipeline of work exceeds our internal capacity to deliver to timescales or to the required specification.In addition to the more traditional development work, we are also looking for the successful companies to work in partnership with the Ordnance Survey engaging with us on new technologies and ideas that will enhance our ability to deliver geo-information.
