Please note this contract has been awarded.Thurrock Council is seeking to appoint a contractor for the provision of services for the treatment of municipal waste. The fundamental objective of the contract is the provision of a service that manages the specified contract waste in a sustainable manner, with particular regard to the environment and economics. The successful contractor shall maintain, develop, implement and operate a service for receiving the contract waste which has been collected by the Council, and for the transfer (as appropriate), treatment and disposal of the waste. This will include the provision of appropriate facilities including residual waste treatment and disposal facilities.
