The prime purpose of the Frameworks is to provide resources and materials to plan and deliver fencing works on the operational and non-operational infrastructure.— The Works generally comprise the erection of fencing on land adjacent to Network Rail's operational railway at the boundary between Network Rail and adjacent owners' land.— Tasks include the planned renewal of fencing, the maintenance and repair of existing fencing and delivering reactive works following damage. The contracts will be made available to all functions within NR, though the major user is anticipated to be the routes.The framework will also allow for the purchase of fencing materials across all suppliers awarded a framework.
