X This is the contract award notice not a new tender opportunity. xIn order to meet our requirements for Forest Management Operations the FC require to put in place a Framework Agreement.FM Operations shall include: Restock Planting, Beat-up Planting, Broadleaf Planting with tube and stake, singling, cleaning, respacing, brashing, motor manual weeding, hand weeding, herbicide weeding; guarded/unguarded spot spraying; overall spraying using knapsack; noxious weed control; band spraying, insecticide top-up spraying, hand fertilising, general estates work/conservation work, tubes removal.The start date is the 15.10.2018. West Argyll and Lochaber do not require services to start until 1.4.2019.The Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 3 years. An option to extend the Framework for a further 12 months will be at the sole discretion of the Forestry Commission.
