National transfer Scheme- accommodation and support unaccompanied Asylum seeking Children
Descriptions
The National Transfer Scheme (NTS) protocol for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) has been established to enable the safe transfer of unaccompanied children in the UK. With an urgent requirement for service provision and recognising that there is insufficient time to undertake tendering activity, a direct award has been made to the Rock Trust for a period of one year with the potential to extend for two periods of up to 12 months duration. This will ensure instant access to sought after accommodation for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. The Rock Trust is a specialist provider of supported accommodation for young people, in particular those young people who have had difficult or chaotic backgrounds.
