NCA20990 Andor Mosaic

Descriptions

To enhance the systems capabilities by adding the Andor Mosaic to the Dragonfly system. The Mosiac allows for photo activation, conversion and bleaching of selected areas in the field of view. This would allow our researcher to carry out kinetic studies for their live experiments to determine reaction rates, diffusion rates and other metrics. This would be done using Fluorescence recovery after photobleaching, Photo-activation of photo-convertible fluorescent probes (e.g. Dark to light or Green to Red), this is termed FRAP-PA. The sensitive high speed cameras on the Dragonfly allow for data collection as fast as 100 fps.
