Descriptions
The scope of the work is to: - Undertake a technical appraisal of how best to remove the North Ormesby Tidal Barrage and Navigation Screen. - Identify opportunities to re-establish and enhance the intertidal habitat within Ormesby Beck after the tidal barrage has been removed. - Identify opportunities for enhancing the existing grassland and scrub adjacent to the Ormesby Beck, between the A66 flyover and the barrage, after the tidal barrage has been removed. - Identify opportunities to daylight or improve the lower reach of Middle Beck. - Develop the business case to remove the North Ormesby Tidal Barrage and the Navigation Screen, to re-establish an intertidal habitat in the Ormesby Beck and enhance the habitat of the adjacent grassland and scrub.
