This Pre-commercial Procurement (PCP)/ Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition, which will fund Phase 1 feasibility studies with R&D contracts in the region of 60,000 GBP, inclusive of VAT.This is a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI)/Pre-commercial Procurement competition funded by the Scottish Government Chief Scientists Office (CSO), the Scottish Government Directorate for Children and Families and the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.The aim of this competition is to provide an opportunity for organisations working in partnership with NHS Scotland, to develop disruptive innovative solutions. These solutions will focus on near-patient bilirubin testing to develop innovative care pathways and enable family centred care at home for babies who do not require to be in hospital.NO COMMERCIAL CONTRACT CAN BE AWARDED AS A RESULT OF THIS R&D PROCUREMENT, AND PURCHASE OF ANY OUTPUT REQUIRES A SEPARATE CONTRACTING PROCESS WHICH MAY BE ADVERTISED SEPARATELY.To obtain additional documents please register your interest in this notice and download from the additional documentation section.
