NPTC Group of Colleges is the result of a merger between Coleg Powys and Neath Port Talbot College 7 years ago. Following the merger, the two individual Colleges legacy phone systems were not integrated and the two legacy systems are still operational. , , The NPTC Group intends to identify and appoint a Supplier for the design, supply, installation and support of a new unified communications system across all of its sites in June 2021 for completion of delivery by 30th June 2021. , , It is intended that the new unified communications system will replace the two existing legacy systems. Removal of existing equipment is not required.
