Neclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer
Descriptions
We require a multinuclear Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometer of 1H frequency 600 MHz suitable for both biological (protein and nucleic acid) and small molecule samples (particularly metal-ligand complexes with a requirement to observe 15N on the ligands), with excellent solvent (water) suppression. A cryogenically cooled inverse probehead is required, suited to observation of 1H, 13C, 15N, 19F and preferably 31P. Excellent 13C sensitivity is essential in addition to 1H, and therefore a cooled 13C preamplifier is required. For larger protein samples the ability to decouple 2H is essential. Cardiff University will use an eTendering system in this tendering exercise. Prospective suppliers should follow the steps below to express their interest and obtain the pre-qualification questionnaire.
