Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council seeks to engage the services of a chainsaw/wood carving artist.The artist will attend 2 community events where he/she will provide materials and display wood carving skills. From the community event the artist will glean ideas from the attendees on what elements to carve in timber site features (theme to be in-keeping with the location).Activities will take place at Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar and Roseheyworth Community Woodland, Abertillery in mid February 2015The artist will carve features/designs into the face of a number of timber poles with an approximate diameter of 450mm, and heights between 500mm - 3,500mm.
