Neighbourhood Mediation service

Descriptions

WDH intends this agreement to support and contribute to the shared vision of creating strong and confident housing communities where tenants and residents feel safe and trust the services they receive. The agreement will also support the key themes of the WDH Community Safety Plan and Antisocial Behaviour Policy in helping to deal with neighbour nuisance, building respect within communities, promoting community cohesion and all residents' rights to the quiet enjoyment of their homes. WDH fully understands that independent mediation offers a valuable addition to the remedies of tackling antisocial behaviour, and which provides a flexible and customer led process designed around each individual conflict and the needs of the people involved. This agreement would therefore aim to ensure that early effective action is taken together with the successful tenderer to help prevent and resolve neighbour dispute, situations and environmental crime which can put individuals and communities at risk and greatly reduce their quality of life. The opportunity is available within the ProContract Due North ESourcing portal.
