The Association of North East Councils trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) seeks to award a multi-lot, multi-supplier Framework Agreement for the supply of Grounds Maintenance Equipment, Plant and Handheld Tools.The Framework Agreement will be made available to participating Contracting Authority establishments throughout the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) including but not limited to government departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, central government, NHS bodies, local authorities, emergency services, coastguard emergency services, educational establishments, registered social landlords and registered charities who have a need to purchase the above services.The Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of fifty (50) suppliers on Lot 1, twenty-five (25) suppliers on Lot 2, thirty (30) suppliers on Lot 3 and thirty (30) suppliers on Lot 4 on a non- ranked basis. The contracting authority will be able issue a call-off by way of direct award without opening up competition or through the operation of a mini-competition. The call-off contract will be on the terms specified in the call-off terms and conditions, supplemented as appropriate by such details as price and quantity which will be specified in the call-off order.NEPO does not give any guarantee and/or warrant the actual value of orders (if any) which will be placed with the successful suppliers by any Contracting Authority using the Framework Agreement pursuant to this process and accepts no liability thereof.
