This commission is to include:•Research, concept development, interior design and furniture specification of:onew library, heritage and community spaces, including:specialist library shelving (providing approximately 300 linear metres of usable book shelf space) and archive storage systemswork pod style meeting spacesreading / lounge chairs and side tablestask chairs and desksopublic areas, such as café and bars, including:semi-formal café/bistro tables and chairsinformal seatingomeeting rooms and other public spacesospecifying the colour scheme to be used throughout•Working with Awen to develop room layouts that are aesthetically striking, logically laid out and providing the specified functionality (for example, providing enough linear meterage of book shelving)•Linking the interior design concepts to the work of our heritage interpretation consultants, who have been engaged to lift the stories and heritage of the building and town out of archives and to re-interpret them throughout the building using a variety of mediums•Participating as an active member of the project team as and when required, including attendance at relevant project team meetings on site (CF34 9DA) or at Awen’s offices (CF32 8UU)•Specifying and procuring furniture, furnishings and feature lighting•Managing the delivery and fit out of furniture and furnishingsNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=100180.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
