Descriptions
The Contracting Authority sought tenders for the provision and maintenance of a new build hospital (which will specialize in cardiothoracic medicine and surgery). The contract also includes the following services: estates, grounds maintenance, pest control, energy and utilities management, materials management, helpdesk, security and traffic management services, staff and visitor catering, patient catering, cleaning, portering, retail and some equipment. The project was subject to a funding competition after the appointment of preferred bidder. The Project has been partially financed from private finance and the Contracting Authority is also providing capital funding to the Project.
