Dare Valley Country Park is set in approximately 500 acres of countryside, within one mile of Aberdare town centre. The Country Park has a huge variety of flora and fauna as well as a network of countryside walks and trails with spectacular views. The site also has an interactive visitor centre, café, 15 hotel rooms, 35 fully serviced caravan pitches and a camping field for up to 60 units. With funding from the European Regional Development Convergence Funded Programme – Valleys Regional Park the Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake minor building works for a new workshop.The Contractor would be expected to demolish an existing toilet block, provide a rafted concrete base for new workshop, order new steel workshop and supervise fitting, provide site services and external works and fence off site and fit access gates.
