NEWKD are seeking a suitable individual/organisation to deliver a Feasibility Study for a Dingle Wool Social Enterprise Project, with a specific focus on sustainable produce and practices. 1.Explore the potential to develop a Dingle Wool Social Enterprise Project, using wool from sheep farmers on the peninsula to make various products to be sold nationally and internationally. 2.Assess the opportunities for Dingle Sheep Farmers to provide their wool to a Dingle Wool Social Enterprise Project, and how it might benefit the farmers themselves.3.Assess the feasibility of developing a workshop for processing the wool and making garments in Tralee.4.Examine the potential products to be produced from the varied grades of wool available on the peninsula.5.Assess the potential for engaging members of the migrant community to work in the Dingle Wool Social Enterprise Projects.
